California?
Wednesday, January 17th, 2007It’s been cold here. Unseasonably cold. All week the lows have been in the 20′s and 30s. This may sound normal for many people and even downright warm for some, but I’m talking about California here.
Friends from cold places warned me about freezing pipes, telling me to leave my kitchen cupboard open, turn off the hose outside, wrap the spigot (wow what a great word that is, spigot) and leave the water running inside.
