Daylight Savings Increases Temperatures

I received this article in email today. If you want to grab it, right click save it please instead of linking to it, it’s a good one.

According to the writer, it seems all we have to do it is turn our clocks back to change the climate.

I don’t know how long this link will be valid, but I did look it up at the Arkansas Democrat Gazette to insure that it wasn’t a Photoshop job.

In case that one does get pulled, Snopes has it too.

California?

It’s been cold here. Unseasonably cold. All week the lows have been in the 20′s and 30s. This may sound normal for many people and even downright warm for some, but I’m talking about California here.

Friends from cold places warned me about freezing pipes, telling me to leave my kitchen cupboard open, turn off the hose outside, wrap the spigot (wow what a great word that is, spigot) and leave the water running inside.
